This was a busy breakfast/brunch place in downtown Fort Worth! I came in individual and was able to be seated at the bar right away, but I noticed a line growing for the morning rush. They had big side pancakes with my order of the egg scramble. Delicious and well seasoned. The server was very attentive to the bar and constantly made sure we had enough drinks or napkins.

Very good! Has the California omelette and added bacon. Real avocado was delicious. Large portions and service was quick. Hash browns and cheesy grits were just okay.
Lots of options and good with large groups. We sat at the bar for quick seating and service.

Walking to my car as writing this post…
Food was DISGUSTING. Hashbrowns looked like they got chewed and spit on my plate . No seasoning whatsoever. Coffee was watered down, you could literally taste all the ingredients individually. Macha was disgusting, watered down grass. Pancakes were thick and dry, but at the same time hard to chew. Strawberries were on their last legs, old and nasty. Were hidden inside pancakes. Sausage was raw and bacon was burnt. Floor was cracked and there was a fly that kept attacking me. Server didn’t even want to be there.
I wish I was joking. Never coming back. 0/0
The first hint should have been the menu not loading while driving there.
Place is more for aesthetic than taste.

Pretty cool little place for breakfast. I enjoyed my skillet. Look for the blue doors to find it. Our server Dalia was amazing, loved her! Coffee was good, pancakes were denser than what I’m used to but still good. Overall we would probably go back even just to have Dalia again!

Great Service. Lots of options to choose from. They have chocolate chip pancakes which is always a win when you have a kiddo with you. Waffles were great and the 3 egg scrambler with salmon was good as well. They clean the tables pretty quick too. You don’t see a bunch of tables with stuff all over them for long!

On my first day in Fort Worth, I decided to start the day with a nice, hearty breakfast. I head downtown to try a diner I had marked as a potential spot for us, according to my research.
I parked my car on the street for a fee and entered the diner.
The place is cozy, the kitchen is visible, and the room is colorful.
We are welcomed courteously, seated immediately, and after a short time, water is brought to us.
We were ready to order.
We order one "BLTSMA": Bacon, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, mayo, and smashed avocado with a side of hash browns; a "Scrambler": scrambled eggs with Canadian bacon, goat cheese, and smashed avocado with a side of cheesy grits and two pancakes with maple syrup. All of this is accompanied by two American coffees.
The BLTSMA is well-made, plentiful, and well-seasoned. The high-quality ingredients are distinctly felt inside the sandwich. The bacon is crispy, which is the only challenge with this sandwich. The scrambled eggs are tasty, fluffy, and well seasoned, and the pancakes that accompany them are fluffy, airy, and light. The sides are a bit disappointing. The cheesy grits don't taste particularly cheesy, and the hash browns are bland. But we didn't go there for the sides.
The service was great and fast, and the bill was average.

The food is mid. Location is great, it’s in the heart of downtown near Sundance Square. You enter through a blue door located in what looks like an alley way at first. Service was friendly. I wouldn’t come back because I’ve had better food.

Pancakes had no flavor, you really need butter and syrup to elevate it. Salmon omelette tasted ok. Hash browns not good. Burrito tasted ok. Pattymelt bread too hard.

Really solid brunch spot. Pancakes are delicious, and the chilequiles surprised me - they were really good.
My group seemed satisfied with their choices, be aware that portions are pretty big! Most entrees are definitely shareable. Would not recommend the grits.

This was our first time and we had a great experience. Our wait time wasn’t bad at all. The staff were all very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Obviously our food was the best part. Highly recommend checking out the Yolk if your down town Ft Worth.

Yolk in Fort Worth was the perfect start to our trip. The food was simply amazing—every dish was flavorful and fresh. Despite the restaurant being busy, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated within just 5 minutes. Our experience was elevated by our waitress, Dalia, who was nothing short of exceptional. She offered great recommendations that truly enhanced our meal. Her attentive service and warm personality made our visit even more enjoyable.Overall, Yolk delivered on both food and service, setting a great tone for the rest of our trip. Highly recommended!
