I dropped by this place prior to a concert nearby. It was perfect. The servers were very friendly. The food was excellent. I had the Atlantic Salmon. It came out quickly and the risotto tasted incredible. It's definitely an upscale vibe and the dishes reflect that. You pay for that experience and it's worth it when you get quality food and great presentation. The decor inside is pleasant and evokes an old-school bar with lots of wood paneling and farm-to-table style flourishes. Then there's the speakeasy attached to the back that I walked through on my way out. Very romantic, dimly lit space furnished just the way you'd expect. A great place to have a drink with your partner. I'll have to come back!

We came here from McKinney and the restaurant was ok, pretty small, food looked decent had salmon and carrot cake. The “Caesar salad” was a split head of lettuce with Caesar dressing and cheese so you had to chop it up yourself. We made a joke about whether or not the carrot cake was gonna come out with just the ingredients and we’d have to put it together ourselves lol. Salmon was good risotto was meh. Carrot cake was good & what got me is that salad cost more than the cake 😂. They try to nickel and dime people with a 5 dollar charge to split an entree bc we can’t eat that much. We shared the food anyway without getting charged. Over all the experience was ok. The waitress was the best part everything else was mediocre especially for the prices they charge 😂 I guess they have to pay for all the wood polishing or something

This is not out first time here, but today we went to celebrate me taking a new job. The service here is top-notch. We had their Wagyu Meatballs and oh my gosh those went so well with the wine we chose. We also had redfish egg rolls and I'm telling you these are the best. Do you not let the name fool you I promise if you try them you will thank me later. Then new to their menu we tried their Almond Crust Trout which we shared and all I can say is oh boy yummy to my tummy. We didn't bring home any left overs so needless to say if you haven't come by yet your missing out.

We stopped by for the speakeasy in back. Very cool space. Couches and comfy chairs, small bar. They had a small food menu available, no vegetarian options tho. Bathroom was also very cool. Okay the cocktail menu - stellar. Whoever is creating these cocktails is so creative and inspired. It was just so many combinations and flavors you don’t see everywhere which made it even more exciting. I wish I had the chance to try more of them. The Mai tai - unreal, it was like eating cotton candy. The lavandar dream was perfectly balanced. I tried the roll with it - wasabi infused tequila with ginger. I wish I had tried the sourdough cocktail! I didn’t see it until the end. On top of that that bar tenders!?!?! EXCEPTIONAL. 2 of them back there, I order 4 random drinks that seemingly have multiple components, different spirits, some shaken, some stirred, all different glasswhere. They had my 4 cocktails on the bar in less than 2 minutes. I’ve seen bartenders take longer to make a vodka soda. I’ve had to wait longer for a batched cocktail to be served. The finesse, attention to detail and speed really blew me away. They deserve a raise! Tip your bartenders!!!

We went to Wishbone & Flynt to get away from the crowds at the Stockyards. We had the charcuterie board with added on cheese (one choice of three), the W&F Chicken Piccata, and the lava cake. My husband had a Four Roses sour. The board was good, but nothing special. It seemed to lack some flavor notes. The chicken piccata was good, but I had menu remorse afterwards. The lava cake was great. The whiskey sour was top-notch. It was complete with egg white, which is not found most places.
Our clue to a great mixologist is when you see the leather apron!

The service today was really spot on. My party was doing a relaxed lunch and we were never rushed by our waiter. He gave us great food suggestions and checked in on our needs. My group was only one of two parties having lunch at the restaurant, so there was no wait. There is inside and outside seating available. Our favorite item was the PB&J wings. The flavors really worked well with the perfectly cooked chicken wings. Second favorite was the date and Gorgonzola bruschetta. It was not sweet but more umami. My least favorite was the smoked redfish eggrolls. They tasted like a lot of goat cheese in an eggroll wrapper, you could not really taste the fish not get any fish texture. Would have been nice to see chives mentioned in the description.

Picked Wishbone and Flint on a date night and so glad we did. Love the atmosphere and the food was delicious! They had a roasted Cesar salad that was unique and I would certainly have that again. I had the shrimp and grits which were some of the best I have ever had. The grits are made from blue corn I think so the color is a little different but I loved them because they were not mushy and the shrimp wasn’t Cajun which is what I usually find. The desserts we yummy way to end a fantastic night.
Spencer took great care of us even though he was also the bartender. Very friendly and informative. There is a cool vibe speakeasy to the right of the bar to check out too.
Definitely recommend this place. They do have a decent sized patio but it was way too hot to sit there. Will come back when it’s cooler.
