Bricks & Horses — Fort Worth’s Most Celebrated Steakhouse Inside the Iconic Bowie House Hotel

There is no more luxurious dining experience in Fort Worth right now than Bricks & Horses, the flagship restaurant inside the stunning Bowie House — Auberge Resorts Collection — at 3700 Camp Bowie Blvd. in the Cultural District. From the moment you step inside this beautifully designed space, you know you’re somewhere truly special — warm Western elegance, impeccable service, and a menu that reads like a love letter to Texas ranching heritage and world-class culinary craft. Bricks & Horses sources its steaks exclusively from legendary local ranches including 6666, Scharbauer, HeartBrand, Broken Arrow, and FW Cattle Co., and grills every cut over real Texas charcoal — a detail that makes all the difference on the plate.

The menu is a masterpiece of Texas-inspired fine dining that spans every occasion and appetite. For dinner, the steakhouse program is extraordinary — from an 8oz Wagyu Tri Tip and a 12oz Angus Prime Strip to a 24oz Bone-In Ribeye, a 12oz Cowboy Filet Mignon, and a showstopping Tomahawk Ribeye at market price — all served with standout sides like Loaded Potato Gratin, Roasted Mushrooms, and Venison Chili Mac with queso and Frito crumble. The Cowboy Caviar Service — Petrossian caviar with citrus cream cheese, red onion jam, and country biscuits — and the Raw Bar’s cold water lobster tail, oysters with Frank’s Red Hot sorbet, and a full Seafood Platter establish Bricks & Horses as one of Fort Worth’s premier fine dining destinations. Breakfast, brunch, and lunch menus are equally exceptional, with standouts like Crème Brûlée French Toast, Wagyu Skirt Steak Rancheros, BBQ Shrimp & Grits, and the beloved Bricks Burger making every daypart a reason to visit.

The Bar at Bricks & Horses is a destination unto itself, open Sunday through Thursday until 11:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until midnight, with a creative cocktail program that draws on Fort Worth’s finest local spirits — including the Bowie House Old Fashioned made with Blackland Texas Whiskey and the Ramblin’ Mr. Crosby featuring Acre Distilling gin. Here’s a short, strong, Google-perfect version that ends powerful and polished:

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. From valet to front desk, reservations, our waiter, and even the GM — every interaction felt intentional and genuinely caring. I have 10 years in hospitality and this wasn’t just great service, it was exceptional.

Our waiter educated us on the story behind the property and menu, paced our meal perfectly around our rodeo plans, and made us feel truly taken care of. The GM even came to greet us when he heard we were using a gift card.

Food, staff, and atmosphere were all outstanding. Fancy can be friendly — and Bowie House proves it. We felt like family and this set the tone for an amazing night. We will absolutely be back.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience from start to finish. The waiter was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The salad with smoked bacon and aged buttermilk was a fantastic start. The Oscar style steak was delicious. The side of mushrooms included a nice variety of savory sauteed mushrooms. The bartender was very knowledeable and helped us choose a delicious tequila. The valet staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Our dinner at Bricks and Horses on January 9, 2026 was memorable! Out of town friends came to visit and we wanted to take them to a special experience. When I made the reservation I asked if plant based options could be made for 3 of the 4 diners at our table. I heard back from
Gaylord right away and then from Chef Antonio Votta. He sent me a long list of options he could prepare for me. I couldn’t believe it! Usually when I contact fine dining restaurants in Fort Worth I get no answer. A couple exceptions, but mostly silence.
I selected several choices and wrote back. When we arrived at Bricks and Horses they immediately knew me by name and my special menu. We were warmly greeted and escorted to our table which had menus printed just for our plant based menu. The table setting was beautiful with silver saddle napkins rings, a small lamp and beautiful chargers. Our waiter, Andrew, welcomed us and enthusiastically described our plant based dishes and the attention paid to make them outstanding. He had tasted them and described how wonderful they were. He made our preferences seem normal, not an imposition on the chef. We were checked on by Grace, who was so warm and friendly, assisted by the sommelier, another friendly and warm person and other leadership staff came by throughout the night. My friends were astounded by the service and our star treatment.
The food was noteworthy. Beautifully plated and presented, fresh and tasted amazing.
Raw Bar: mushroom tartare, spicy aioli, sesame seed, nori crackers
I loved this! The flavor of the mushrooms was spectacular.
Appetizers:
Sourdough bread: they bake it fresh. The bread arrives hot to the table. It was crusty, soft and perfect.
Ritz and Dips
We had some gluten free crackers instead of Ritz, avocado spinach artichoke spread, roasted red bell
Pepper, and refried lentil dips
All were delicious! We also used them on the sourdough bread.
Salad: Fig salad with wild arugula, citrus lace fig balsamic and tofu balls
A fresh salad with loads of texture and flavor and savory, crispy tofu balls. Loved it!
Entree: House made Orecchiette with spicy sundried tomato pesto, almond and basil
Dessert: apple cobbler (got it to go)
Wine: William Chris Enchante Cabernet Sauvignon, excellent!
Also, one of the diners was not plant based and he enjoyed the Caesar salad and steak Diane.
I can’t wait to go back for Valentine’s Day, my birthday, any special occasion. Go as soon as you can. It will be an experience to remember.

We celebrated our Thanksgiving dinner at Horses & Bricks, and the entire evening was exceptional. The moment we walked in, the warm Texas atmosphere immediately stood out, classic, cozy, and beautifully designed. The walls are adorned with the hotel owner’s personal art collection, which gives the space a refined and intimate character. Our corner table made the experience feel especially romantic and memorable.

The food was outstanding. The creamy artichoke and crab dip was one of the best starters I’ve ever had, rich, flavorful, and perfectly served with assorted crackers. For the main courses, the butter poached lobster with butternut squash risotto and black truffle was outstanding, and the roasted turkey dinner was elevated and beautifully prepared. Every side dish was thoughtfully seasoned, especially the crispy Brussels sprouts with pepper jelly.

Desserts were also excellent, including the pumpkin spice gooey butter cake, chocolate pecan torte, and apple cinnamon sablé. Each one was well balanced and a wonderful finish to the dinner.

Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Overall, this was one of the best Thanksgiving dinners I’ve experienced. Horses & Bricks delivers exceptional food, a warm and elegant environment, and a genuinely memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

Wow, what an experience! Absolutely lovely service, the food was amazing and the cocktails were superb. Our family loved this place so much that we came here twice on our recent visit to FTW.

First we came here for a birthday dinner that exceeded all of our expectations. The tomahawk steak, the desserts, the oysters and shrimp - everything was perfectly made and we had a lovely evening.

The second time we came for brunch/lunch, and the service wasn’t as great but we still had a lovely time and delicious food. Highly recommend!

Having never been to bricks and horses before, I decided to take my wife to a nice restaurant enroute to the symphony downtown Fort Worth. Based on the other photos and reviews, I was expecting a enjoyable evening. They exceeded expectations! Bricks and horses outdid themselves in making our night memorable and enjoyable. The ambience was warm, western-elevated, a great place to take your date. The service was awesome, we had Jaysa as our waitress and I would highly recommend her. The food was absolutely amazing. My wife had one of the steaks, and I had a unique mesquite roasted chicken Cordon Bleu as well as scallops. I also had the truffle baked ziti and there was no skimping on the truffle oil, which I loved! Jaysa was also very attentive to my wife’s gluten allergy and did everything she could to make her meal the very best experience. Bottom line: you should visit bricks and horses…I will be visiting again!

We had a wonderful brunch at Bricks and Horses. Everything about our visit was enjoyable.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. It looks like an art museum with its Western decor. There's so much to see and admire while you're there, even if you are not staying at the Bowie House.

The food was delicious. I had steak and eggs, which were cooked perfectly. My partner chose the Eggs Benedict, which came with a nice selection of fresh fruits. We both really enjoyed our meals.

Our waitress, Abby, provided excellent service. She was attentive and friendly, always there when we needed something but never making us feel rushed. She really helped make our experience special. Thank you, Abby!

What we appreciated most was the relaxed atmosphere. We were able to take our time, enjoy our food, and soak in the beautiful scenery without feeling any pressure to leave.
