• Arrived at 7:33 PM for the Cowboys vs. Packers game, excited to enjoy the night with friends.
• Had one Twisted Tea and later only two beers total — hanging out & seated with my group, not disruptive in any way.
• At 9:40 PM, out of nowhere, bartender Jen told me I was “cut off.” I was completely blindsided. I wasn’t stumbling, slurring, or doing anything wrong.
• When I asked why, she accused me of “stumbling all around” and even claimed there was a “text sent out about me.” Being lied about and publicly shamed like that was humiliating.
• I tried speaking with the manager, desperate for someone to be fair, but he brushed me off with, “It’s up to my girls,” showing zero professionalism or concern. I felt completely dismissed.
• Later, when my friend bought another bucket, Jen went out of her way (from the OTHER-SIDE of the bar in a busy establishment) to grab a bouncer to hover over me and threaten removal if I had another drink. Even other tables questioned why I was being targeted.
• What makes this worse is that I have witnessed other visibly intoxicated guests at this same bar — including an older man who had fallen multiple times and was harassing women (who is a LITERAL groomer) continue to be served because he “tips big.” To see others served no matter how drunk they were, while I was harassed after two drinks, makes it painfully clear that Jen acted out of bias, not concern for safety.
• By 10:15 PM, I was so shaken and embarrassed that I left in tears. What should have been a fun night turned into one of the most degrading and painful experiences I’ve ever had at a bar
