My grandmother Mary used to be a resident here YEARS ago!!! I would come every weekend and stay the night out there with her when I was probably 8-14 give or take(I'm now 34) And we would just have a blast. We would walk around out there or we would go participate in the activities. I have such great memories of being at this place with my grandmother. Also everybody out there was so nice. If you're looking for a new retirement community this place is fantastic!!
I used to live there until 2020 with my parents. I attended the ST. FRANCIS VILLAGE PROTESTANT CHAPEL. My parents and I used to be members. Once my Mom passed away my Dad and I moved to Granbury. The Choir director and his wife who plays the piano take my Dad and I when we feel well. I love the Pastor and his wife and the members of the church.
Perfect retirement community. Hidden gem. Not just a Catholic community but if you are Catholic, and looking for a place to participate and use your talents, you are needed here and will have no lack of opportunities to be of service. If you like watching wildlife, deer, wild turkey, birds etc. in abundance.
I visit the place a month ago , and I full in love with. So beautiful and peaceful , everyone very friendly . I put my name in the list , I know I make the right decision . I can't wait when they will call me to move to my retirement community . I am very enxious and excited . We are lucky to have retirement places like that .
