If you’re looking for an unforgettable distillery experience in Fort Worth, I can’t recommend this gem enough! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, homey, and incredibly personal. What made it even more special was that the owner himself led our tour. It wasn’t just informative; it was engaging and meaningful. He took the time to share the history behind the name and the passion that inspired the distillery, which made the entire experience feel authentic and memorable. The tasting was absolutely phenomenal. Every spirit we tried was top-notch smooth, flavorful, and crafted to perfection. You can truly taste the quality and care in every sip. The bar selection is just as impressive, with a wide variety of creative drinks and mixers that are simply to die for. Everyone we encountered was welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home from start to finish. We had such an amazing time and left already looking forward to our next visit. I will definitely be returning!

From Big Chief of The Whiskey Trip Podcast

Acre Distillery is the kind of place that reminds you why we celebrate craft whiskey in the first place. From the moment you walk into their spot in Fort Worth, you feel the history, the pride, and the passion behind everything they make. Their team pours heart and craft into every bottle, and it shows with each sip.

What stood out to me most was their commitment to flavor — bold, thoughtful, and truly Texas. Whether you’re enjoying their Texas straight bourbon, their single malt, or any of their creative expressions, you’re getting a spirit made by people who care about the story behind the glass.

As host of The Whiskey Trip Podcast, I meet a lot of distillers. Acre Distillery stands out. Their hospitality, their craftsmanship, and their spirit of innovation make them a must-visit for any whiskey lover traveling through Fort Worth.

Take the Ride with Big Chief — and make sure Acre is one of your stops. 🥃🔥

If you are looking for your next team building activity or even just a fun way to spend an afternoon with friends, Acre Distilling Co. is the place to go. Mandy worked with us to create a fantastic experience for our group. We started with a very tasty lunch and then Tony gave us a a great tour filled with fun facts and history of the area and shared his vast knowledge with us. My group all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend the tour and tasting!

A great place, and be sure to sign up for tasting. We had a great experience which was paired with Buttermilk Sky Pie. Oh my! Delish. I just want to say we were part of a full house for the tasting and our expert distiller was hard to hear when he was explaining the techniques and the history of Acre Distilling. We aren’t that old yet but couldn’t hear all of it. Maybe a microphone for future . We will be back and bring our out of town peeps! It was great!

A great experience with cool vibes! We did the chocolate and whiskey/wine pairing. The whiskey/wine selections were great, and the experience was fun! We enjoyed drinks before and after the event. The espresso martini was the best! My husband enjoyed the blood Mary!

We’ve visited this distillery twice now, and both experiences were absolutely fantastic! Our first visit was on a Sunday when we did the tour and tasting. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and we were impressed with how many different spirits we were able to try. We ended up finding several that we loved and wanted to add to our home liquor cabinet. They even gave us a coupon to use on a future visit, which was a nice bonus!

We enjoyed that first visit so much that we came back a few weeks later and brought my parents along so they could experience it for themselves. The distillery has a great selection of spirits made right on the property, and the bartenders are incredibly talented at crafting mixed drinks that highlight their products.

The space itself has a welcoming, relaxed vibe, and we’ve liked it so much that we’re even considering hosting my husband’s going away party there before his upcoming deployment. If you’re looking for a fun, high-quality tasting experience with a great atmosphere and even better drinks, this place is definitely worth a visit!

From the moment we arrived at Acre Distilling it was clear we were in for something special. To me what really made the visit stand out was Tony the owner. Not only was he incredibly welcoming but his knowledge of the whiskey and history of the downtown area made the experience uniquely amazing. Buy a bottle with the discount and stay to have a mixed drink. I had the Scottish Old Fashioned and it was so delicious I had to have two. The best part is, the prices are the cheapest in all downtown. Cant beat great service, great cocktails and a good price.

WOW! What a fantastic experience right here in Ft Worth! We went for a whiskey tasting 'tour' recently and we were blown away, and it was way beyond our expectations! We sat directly in front of the distillers, got educated on that process, which is fascinating in itself, and tried 7 different types of alcohol. Whiskey, Gin, and Vodka. What's a pleasant surprise about this experience, is the extensive amount of fascinating History that happened right where we were sipping, and the immediate surroundings of this very cool building. After 'our tour' we bought a couple of bottles, (with a discount from the tour), of our favorite samples. Another group was coming in after us and the energy and 'buzz' was high and full of anticipation! Afterwards...we had to walk it off, and we headed over to Sundance Square! What a great time .. and experience! I highly recommend Acre Distilling!

Acre Distillery did not disappoint! We did the Whiskey Tour and Tasting and were pleasantly surprised at the vast selection we’d be sampling. Plus, they were all so delicious! We ended up buying 2 bottles to take home! Steven was a great guide and explained everything so well and shared some really cool stories about the history of Fort Worth. We will definitely be back. Thanks Steven!

Did the blending experience and it was killer. Whiskey is top notch, and the owner was very personable and had some great stories and history info. Can’t wait to come back.
The owner, Tony, did a wonderful job of leading our tasting tour. A small, local distillery that makes whiskey, vodka, gin, and rum. Great infusions and straight spirits! I plan on doing the whiskey blending tour in the future!
