Check your coffee before you drink it. I found a screw/nail at the bottom of my cup. I saw something floating and assumed it was a coffee bean. To be sure, I used a spoon to fish it out and to my horror found a screw. Sadly threw it out along with my food because I can't trust this place

We’ve been a few times and the food and coffee are always great.
The reason we don’t love coming is the service. It’s consistently slow, and we often feel neglected with how few times our server comes by. After being seated, we usually end up waiting 5-10 minutes before our server comes by. We’ve had issues before with not receiving our coffee until asking someone else, not our own server, about it. We’ve been at all times of day and it doesn’t seem to matter how busy they are, they just aren’t attentive. It can be extremely frustrating.
Again, the food and coffee are great and we love the area it’s in. We just hope that next time, our service is more attentive.

Came in after church for brunch and had Miles as our server. He was attentive but not overbearing. The food was amazing as always. We did brunch and mimosas. Miles was seriously great. Very friendly and welcoming. Great job of previewing the table and making sure no trash was on it.

Went with a friend we both loved and enjoyed it a lot the scenery is right on Trinity River so you can see the runners and water while eating outside or you can stay in😀. Food was good as well for a nice brunch if you like that sort of deal and the area has little stores all round it if you wanna walk around and shop.
Also we stay on the north side of fort Worth from there it was 10 mins so not far at all😁
It was a good time👍

I have no idea what happened to my previous review of this restaurant. It’s a shame because I had so many photos to prove how wonderful this place is. You can’t get much better when it comes to restaurant location then can say. It’s right off the river, which is perfect for sitting outside on the patio. Their service is hit or miss. I feel like they have their worst waiters servicing the outside, but its not bad enough to not go!. I’ve come here multiple times and every single time the food and drinks are great; unfortunately i only have a few photos from the last visit.

Mediterranean Bowl and Ceasar Salad. I didn't get to try the coffee but it smelled so delightful. Our Server Miles was excellent, he worked his little tail off servicing lots of tables.

A favorite spot- we’ve been to both the Dallas and Fort Worth locations and Fort Worth is our favorite! Amazing little spot on the river, delicious food and delicious coffee. Great ambience and excellent service.

Ascension Coffee delivers a cozy atmosphere and friendly service, making it a great spot for a casual meal or coffee break. I ordered the Mediterranean salad and a cappuccino, both of which were delicious and well-prepared. While the service was warm and welcoming, the food did take a bit longer than expected to arrive. Despite that minor hiccup, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I’d happily visit again.

Highly recommend the Hippie Bowl!! 👌🏻👌🏻light refreshing dish with a variety of veggies…I added a side order of eggs which was a nice touch.

Cool, fun atmosphere. Server was very helpful with our questions and requests being from out of town.
