Buffalo Bros — Fort Worth’s Legendary Buffalo-Style Pizza, Wings & Sports Bar

Some restaurants feed you. Others become a genuine Fort Worth institution — and Buffalo Bros has been both since the day it opened. Established in 2007 by Fort Worth native Chef Jon Bonnell and Buffalo native Chef Ed McOwen, Buffalo Bros was created to bring the authentic flavors of Buffalo, New York to Fort Worth — a locals’ hangout where everybody knows your name, with great food, drinks, and service at the heart of everything. With three Fort Worth-area locations — the beloved original near TCU, a massive flagship inside the historic Sanger Building at 415 Throckmorton St. in Sundance Square, and a newer Burleson outpost — Buffalo Bros has cemented its place as one of the most beloved casual dining and sports bar destinations in Cowtown.

The food is the real story, and Texas Monthly says it best: Chef Ed McOwen offers the most authentic version of meaty wings in town, the New Yorker pizza earns raves for its meatball, onion, red pepper, and jalapeño coverage on a crisp thin crust, and the Beef on Weck — roast beef on a salt-crusted caraway kimmelweck roll spread with horseradish — is the truest Buffalo specialty you’ll find anywhere in Texas. Wings come in eight sauces including hot, Cajun, lemon pepper, garlic Parmesan, and the legendary suicide, and can be ordered in quantities from 6 all the way up to 50. Hand-stretched deck oven pizzas — available by the pie or by the slice — made-to-order subs, a full appetizer lineup, fresh salads, and Buffalo classics like Sahlen’s hot dogs and Bison French Onion Chip Dip round out a menu that hits every craving every time.

The Sundance Square location features 93 HD TVs showing all major sporting events throughout the week, 56 varieties of beer on tap, and a private viewing room with 5 screens and 20 stadium-style seats — making it one of the single best game-day destinations in all of downtown Fort Worth. Both locations are open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., so whether you’re catching a late game, grabbing a post-concert bite near Bass Performance Hall, or just want the best wings and coldest beer in Cowtown, Buffalo Bros is always ready. Buffalo Bros Sundance Square – Review:

Buffalo Bros at Sundance Square is a go-to spot for classic American comfort food, especially if you're craving wings. They offer a variety of wing flavors—from spicy and tangy to mild and savory—cooked perfectly with a crispy outside and juicy inside. The menu also includes burgers, sandwiches, and sides like fries and onion rings, all well-prepared and tasty. The vibe is casual and welcoming, great for hanging out with friends or catching a game. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. Overall, a solid choice for flavorful wings and relaxed dining in the heart of Sundance Square.

As someone from Buffalo, NY, it was such a treat to get an authentic taste of home at Buffalo Bros! The wings were absolutely delicious—even reheated later, they were still amazing. The pizza was huge and full of flavor, and the potato skins were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Everything hit the spot! If you’re craving true Buffalo favorites, this is the place to go. Highly recommend! 🦬🍗🍕

We love coming to this place during lunch time. And the food and services is always great. Specially when we have Evan’s as our bartender. This last visit we sat in the dining table and our server seemed to be giving everyone looks and smart remarks. Aside that we had a great lunch. What was the worst was the food. We order chicken thenders and they did not look fresh.

As someone who is from New York, I’m picky about my chicken wings. Buffalo bros never disappoints. Hands down the best wings I’ve had in Texas. The fries are amazing too! The prices and service are always awesome

Listen. The food and drinks are great. But no matter what, they are just slow getting it out lol I'm sorry. Go for the half price pizza in Mondays, go for cheap wings on Wednesdays. Best deals. Wings are big and delicious. $8 for 10 wings is the best deal (Wednesday). Also they have TVs everywhere for any sports you are trying to watch. It is pretty loud inside if you are in a date or something on busy nights. The wait is less than they tell you, so that's nice. Pay attention to your phone when you give them your number. People leave and you get bumped up.

Great venue to watch sports, a ton of TVs. Wide selection of beers on tap, well over 30. The A-Bomb sandwich and fried pickles were great. The turkey club sandwich was so-so. Although the bread was served a little warm, would have been better if the entire sandwich was served hot.

This bar/restaurant has everything you need! Tons and tons of TV’s, lots of bar seats and a great amount of tables. The pizza was maybe one of the best I’ve had and believe me I’m a pizza connoisseur!! The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. I’m just sad I don’t live in Ft. Worth because I would visit this place once a week!

We tried this place because our friends wanted to go here. It was very good. We had the meat lovers pizza, it was good; great flavor. The meatballs on it were tasty. We also had the wings. We tried 4 flavors (lemon, garlic, BBQ, & Cajun), all were very good. Liked the dry Cajun the best. Our waitress was awesome, very patient & helpful. Ton of TVs, great place to watch sports.

Buffalo Bros 360 Bar in Downtown Fort Worth is an absolute gem! Nestled in the heart of the city, this spot offers a perfect blend of vibrant energy and laid-back charm, making it an ideal place for a night out with friends.

From the moment we walked in, Madison, our server, made us feel right at home. Her warm personality, attentiveness, and stellar recommendations truly elevated our experience. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely invested in ensuring their guests have a great time—kudos to her for setting the bar high!

As for the drinks, they did not disappoint! I went with the pineapple jalapeño margarita, which struck the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and refreshing—a delightful twist for margarita lovers. My friend opted for the top-shelf margarita, and it was as smooth and premium as you’d expect. Both drinks were crafted beautifully and packed a flavorful punch.

The food was just as impressive. From their hearty pizza options to the shareable wings, everything we tried hit the spot. The menu offers something for everyone, whether you’re craving classic pub fare or something with a creative twist.

The 360-degree bar layout is also worth mentioning. With an open, inviting atmosphere and a great view from every angle, it’s the perfect setting for catching up with friends or enjoying the downtown Fort Worth vibe.

If you’re looking for a place that combines excellent service, delicious food and drinks, and a lively atmosphere, Buffalo Bros is it. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Madison again!
