Courtside Kitchen — Fort Worth’s Premier Pickleball Restaurant Where Great Food Meets the Game Everyone’s Playing

Courtside Kitchen is Fort Worth’s first dedicated pickleball facility, offering an exciting place to be active while enjoying craft cocktails, draft and local beers, and a unique twist on some of your favorite foods. Located at 1615 Rogers Rd. near University Drive and I-30, the former Mopac Event Center has been dramatically transformed into one of the most distinctive entertainment dining destinations in Panther City. The sprawling indoor-outdoor space features over 7,500 square feet of indoor dining and more than 23,500 square feet of outdoor space, with nine pickleball courts, lawn games like cornhole and Texas-sized Connect 4, and a gorgeous patio complete with a fountain, turf grass areas, brick paths, and a live music stage. Inside, tall ceilings, exposed brick, wood tables, cane chairs, teal booths, and an entire wall of retractable garage doors opening onto a sunny view of the courts create a lively, energetic atmosphere that somehow works as well for a casual weeknight dinner as it does for a competitive Saturday morning pickleball session.

Since Courtside is open virtually all day, the restaurant accommodates most meals — from coffee and pastries in the morning to brunch, lunch, dinner, and a full bar well into the evening. The kitchen delivers crowd-pleasing American fare with creative, playful twists: standouts include the Funkytown Hot Chicken & French Toast — a brunch showstopper of deep-fried chicken slathered in hot sauce over buttery French toast — alongside Ranchero Fries loaded with toppings, hot chicken sandwiches, steak frites, and Courtside Fish & Chips. Weekend brunch runs Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am to 3pm, and happy hour runs Monday through Friday with $2 off specialty cocktails and frozen drinks, $4 drafts, and half-price wine. Free play is offered every day from 9 to 10pm, making it an easy, low-commitment way to try pickleball for the first time before committing to court time.

Courtside Kitchen is open Monday through Saturday 8am–10pm and Sunday 8am–9pm. Court options include open play, beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, plus 8-week competitive leagues for ladies, men, seniors, and mixed play, as well as private lessons, group lessons, and clinics led by Courtside’s pickleball pros. Walk-ins are welcome, but booking a court online in advance is strongly recommended for busy weekends. Paddle and ball rentals are available on-site, and private events and birthday parties for groups of all sizes can be coordinated through the events team. Whether you’re a seasoned player or picking up a paddle for the very first time, Courtside Kitchen delivers one of the most fun and unique nights out in Fort Worth — explore more of the city’s best restaurants and entertainment venues at Fort Worth restaurants.

Courtside Kitchen in Fort Worth has become my go-to spot for both pickleball and dining. The facility offers top-notch pickleball courts suitable for all skill levels, fostering a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Beyond the courts, the culinary offerings are impressive. One standout is the CK Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which I highly recommend. The staff, especially Matteo, consistently enhance the experience with their friendliness and attentiveness. Courtside Kitchen masterfully combines sports and gastronomy, making it a must-visit destination.

Went for for a Friday night birthday dinner with my gf,sister and cousin. Made a reservation for 4 on the patio. Shout out to the host (didn’t catch his name) young guy that chatted us up when we arrived.he was very nice and accommodating. Told us about the place. We ended up sitting by the fire pit outside. Ordered drinks from the bartender outside who ended up being our server as well. She was great. Very chill atmosphere and not too loud so we could still talk around all the pickle ballers. Apps were delicious. We got the fried pickles and crispy shrimp. My gf and cousin got the fish&chips.fish was battered well and tasty. I got the wings and they were big but could’ve been crispier. My sis got the chicken sandwich and she left no crumbs. Definitely a cool spot to just chill and chat with friends. Also very decently priced for downtown. For 2 apps,3 alcohol bevs and 3 dinner plates it was still under $100. Good spot!

Oh my goodness, what a phenomenal concept! Courtside Kitchen combines fantastic food with pickleball courts, so you can play before or after you eat, or just watch others while you enjoy your meal. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available, and though it was a bit hot outside, the food made it worth it. I just wish we had more places like this! I’d definitely come back.

Stopped in yesterday hoping for brunch but missed the cutoff time for that and since it was a Monday (holiday) brunch wasn’t available.

Quickly seated and server came around promptly. We ordered 2 Rosaritas, the 4 cheese grilled cheese plate, the funky town hot chicken sandwich and the Double Double.

Grilled cheese was on sourdough which was delicious. Very strong cheese flavors and tasted good but was a bit much on the Parmesan cheese.

Funky Town Hot chicken sandwich was wonderful. The slaw and pickles were a flavorful addition with just enough hot sauce on the chicken.

The double double was well stacked, perfectly cooked, and wonderful.

We also had regular fries and Parmesan fries and they were AWESOME! The parm fries had such great flavor, a nice amount of cheese and a great addition to the food.

We didn’t do anything outdoors for pickleball but may give that a shot next go round.

I recently visited Courtside Kitchen for my first-ever pickleball experience, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to learn the game. The courts are well-maintained, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed to have a great time.

After working up an appetite, we ate court side, and I was pleasantly surprised. The menu offers a great variety, and everything we tried was delicious. The hot sauce added a perfect kick, and the guacamole was fresh and flavorful. The only slight concern was the burger while tasty, the meat seemed a bit questionable in terms of freshness, but it was still enjoyable overall. One thing I loved is that they serve Coke, which is a nice touch for those who prefer it.

The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were attentive without being overbearing. Whether you’re there for the pickleball, the food, or both, Courtside Kitchen is a fun spot to hang out with friends. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
