Food is great, the service not so much. Be prepared to wait a minimum of 45 minutes for your food weather you dine in or call ahead.

Good food but just a little hectic to pay. It took me around 10 minutes to pay and then another 5 to get my drink. This spot may need more cashiers on Friday and weekends.

Other than that, good food, HUGE PUPUSAS! I usually get 3 but you only need 2!

Everything was really good and authentic, but my plate came out cold. The other plates were hot though so idk why my steak and eggs were cold. Papusas were very good. They don’t speak English though.

This place is great! I have been eating here for the past 2 years.
My personal favorites are the revuelta pupusas (the curtido and salsa are good), the tamales con pollo, the pasteles, and the agua jamaica horchata. The place is friendly and professional. Every time I order, the food is ready on time. If they are out of something, they will call you to see what you would like to order instead. One time I ordered a horchata from here and the flavor was sold out that day so they called me about 2 minutes after ordering to get a different item.

I really go here for the Salvadoran food so I can't really tell you what I think about the tacos and the Mexican and Honduran dishes, but I highly recommend you check them out!

I love this location!

Food is good but service is bad. I went to pay the cashier was overcharging me when I noticed I told her but she had already swiped my card, she said she cancel the transacción, she swiped my card one more time with the correct amoun, hour later I received a message notifying me that two charges had been made at this restaurant. I live 1.30minutes away from this location. They said I need go to back to the restaurant if I want my money back because none of the people working there knew how to cancel a transaction. What kind of business doesn't train its employees to solve these kinds of problems.

First time visiting this locations I love pupusas revueltas with curtido.. as soon I started eating the flavor was different (been eating that for over twenty years) what a surprise it wasn’t chicharron with cheese they change for chicken with cheese and the reason why I’m going this review .. same reason AGAIN love pupusas .. so I brought two more what at surprising I found chicken skin on it .. that was kind gross for me .. definitely next time I have to think to eat pupusas or be specific asking for chicharron / cheese (revueltas) very disappointed.. I wasn’t sure to tip our server I order the to go ones while I was eating and it was there by the register for a while til I called another server and asked how much longer I had to wait

If store bought powdered Horchata or RUDE service is your cup of tea, then look no further. The waitress was impatient with me, mind you Spanish is one of 3 languages I know. Also, I grew around Mexican foods and have limited experience with Salvadoran foods. I inquired about the “Enchilada” in the menu because there were no pictures and she told me “Es como la enchilada Mexican”. So then I ordered it. Once she took our order she never came back. Our order was brought out by someone else, which is fine but she didn’t hesitate to check on the Caucasian group of 12 at least 4 different occasions. Mind you the enchilada that I received was NOTHING like the Mexican enchilada. (Refer to pics)

This was my first time at Dora Carmen's. I ordered to go. What an amazing surprise. The to go containers were FULL and the food was DEEEELICIOUS! I ordered the Mojarra Frita which is very bony but cooked to perfection and my friend got the Carne Asada which he loved. The plantains were delicious with the refried beans and cream. The food was plentiful and we had to save the left overs for the next day. The prices are reasonable and I'm looking forward to returning and tasting the rest of their dishes. Staff was friendly. 😊
