I ordered the Brisket ($36/lb), Pork Ribs ($30/lb), Pork Belly ($30/lb), Turkey ($39/lb), Jalapeño Cheese Sausage ($7), Bread Budding ($7), and Banana Pudding ($7). This place is AMAZING, it’s the best BBQ I’ve had in my life (I lived in Texas for 20+ years). All the meats were amazing. The pork rib was the best thing, so tender and juicy. The pork belly was a huge surprise - it’s so good too. The turkey was one of the most moist turkey I’ve ever had my entire life. The sausage was cheesy and juicy, one of the best ones I’ve had. The brisket was solid too, but surprisingly my least favorite of all the meat I ordered. The desserts were decent, but I don’t think I would order that again. Would 100% come back and it’s definitely worth the 2-3 hour wait. I would recommend coming early at 8 or 9 AM to wait in line and avoid the food selling out (which happens as the day goes on - pretty much everything is sold out by 1 PM).

We lined up at 8:30 AM on a Sunday and the queue started filling in afterward. We were about 25th in line, and the line snakes right by their pits. We watched them pull the turkeys from the smokers, add a half-pound block of butter to each one, and wrap them! The result was the best smoked turkey I’ve ever had—hands down. Proof that fat makes everything taste better!

Their brisket and ribs are spectacular—easily one of the best. Although, personally, I have to say that Burnt Bean Company down in Seguin, Texas, has a slight edge over Goldee’s. Additionally, the Jalapeño Cheese Sausage was amazing.

On the side, we had their delicious Brisket Beans and Cheesy Grits. We also really appreciated their homemade bread. Last but not least, their Banana Pudding was smooth, balanced, and the flavours were on point.

Get there early to not miss out on the burnt ends—these little morsels of beef are as close as one can get to candy heaven!

The best BBQ I’ve had. All around incredible experience. We got in line at 5:45am, probably a bit overkill lol, but worth it.

Obviously the food was incredible, they’re not number 1 for nothing. But a few things really blew me away.

The service from everyone we met was incredible. Everyone was so friendly. I would say they treated us like family, but, even our family doesn’t treat us that well.

Especially Lane, he is one of the nicest and most genuine people on this planet.

Secondly, the pork belly, the pork hash, and the bread pudding, really blew me away. It didn’t make sense how good those three things were. Again, obviously everything on the menu is a 10/10. I picked those three things out because they were things I didn’t have on my radar and they really knocked them out of the park.

Waited two days in a row for several hours to eat. Will 100% be back, even knowing we have to travel from Cincinnati, OH.

Sat, waited 2hr 40mins (160 mins) from 11:20 am.
6 items were sold out when we ordered at 2 pm and did not try the beef rib and lemon kale slaw that we wanted.
However, we still got the brisket and pork ribs with beans and cheesy grit. The ribs brisket are juicy and in perfect seasonings, I did not put BBQ sauce.
Homemade bread was soft and fluffy, I wish I could eat more slices.
It's totally worth the wait!
Plan to arrive early. We asked who got the beef ribs arrived around 8:30 am.
They have camping chairs you can borrow to queue.

Wow. Hands down the best BBQ in Texas, maybe even in the world, seriously. Goldee’s knows what they’re doing. Expect to wait in line - on a Sunday we arrived at 9:30am and the line up was about 50 people deep and kept growing behind us (first in line were there around 6am!).

The food - incredible. Everything was perfectly done and flavorful - the ribs! The brisket! The turkey! The pork belly! We tried all the sausage and I preferred the jalapeño cheddar while my husband loved the Lao - both were delicious. We tried all the side: potato salad was great, lemon kale slaw was so good, cheesy grits and beans were my husband’s faves while my son and I loved the Carolina pork hash!

The desserts were to die for - the banana pudding was so so good, I am dreaming of it now, and the bread pudding was some of the best I’d ever had in my life.

It’s definitely worth the drive and the wait for Goldee’s. The employees are so friendly and welcoming as well - they really make you feel at home. And they’ve now received a Michelin Bib Gourmand as well! Much deserved! Can’t wait to go back!
