Greek House Restaurant — Fort Worth’s Beloved Neighborhood Greek and Mediterranean Gem Serving Fresh Gyros, Housemade Tzatziki, and Affordable Classics on Forest Park Boulevard

If you’re searching for authentic Greek food in Fort Worth that’s fresh, flavorful, and priced to make it an easy weekday lunch, Greek House Restaurant on Forest Park Boulevard near TCU is the kind of hidden gem that regulars fiercely protect and visitors instantly fall in love with. Rated 4.5 stars on Google, the restaurant is well known for its outstanding service, friendly staff, and attractive prices for flavorful meals — with the cute decor and charming atmosphere letting customers feel genuinely relaxed. Fort Worth has very few authentic ethnic restaurants, making Greek House one of a handful of truly genuine options in Cowtown — and the family-owned, welcoming atmosphere makes every visit feel like coming home.

The menu spans gyro sandwiches, grilled marinated chicken and steak pitas, falafel, and a lineup of Greek salads — including the classic with feta, olives, and pepperoncini in a house Greek dressing, and the gyro salad topped with lamb and a side of tzatziki. The gyro meat has a genuinely good lamb flavor, the fries are hot and crispy every single time, and the extra tzatziki sauce for dipping makes the whole meal come alive. The popular lunch special — gyro, fries, and a drink — is one of the best deals near the TCU corridor, and the portions are generous enough that finishing it all is a real accomplishment. The shish kabob with rice and salad is extremely flavorful, the hummus is excellent, and the baklava is a must for dessert.

Greek House is located at 2426 Forest Park Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76110, and is open Monday through Friday 11am–8pm and Saturday noon–8pm, closed Sundays. Takeout, delivery, and reservations are all available, with many vegetarian options on the menu. Whether you’re a TCU student looking for a quick and satisfying lunch or a west-sider craving something beyond Tex-Mex, Greek House delivers every time — find more of Fort Worth’s most unique neighborhood restaurants in the Fort Worth restaurant guide on Selling the Fort.

Yuck. And expensive for what you get. I got kabobs. The meat was tough so the 4 tiny squares didn’t make much difference. As others mentioned, the salad was 1/4 c lettuce and a tiny sliver of cucumber. It also came with plain white rice that was so old it was in the shape of the pot. They didn’t even try. Yeah… pass this place by. Filthy, hot (no a/c running) zero customer service. Just bad.
My husband and I love Greek House! We visited again last week on his birthday and our Anniversary and it was just as amazing as it always has been! The food is delicious. No other Greek restaurant in the area compares. This family owned business is a gem. We cannot wait to visit again. Give them a try, you can thank us later!

I’ve been going to The Greek House since I was a teenager. That over 30 years (same ownership) and it’s the most consistent place in Ft Worth. Everything is absolutely delicious. I try but can’t ever pass up the baklava as a little treat. Very friendly owners too! It’s a Ft Worth staple

Food and service were phenomenal. The place is significantly dated on the atmosphere, I hope one day they update it. But as good as everything else was, it's not going to affect the five star rating.

The food was alright. I wish everything's less salty, or at least some dishes are less salty than others so they can complement each other. The desert was really good. Their baklava is around $3 each, but the taste was solid.

Great spot! Service was very friendly and the food was very good. Who doesn't love fresh Seasoned fries?! If you love Gyros, I highly recommend. Also, I don't know if I would call this place a dive. The restaurant seems too clean to be considered a dive. The restaurant is just old.

The best lunch of the week. Unassuming little restaurant that exceeded our expectations tenfold. The food was fantastic, the price was right, and watching the family work together made us smile. You can't leave without trying the homemade baklava! Great relaxing environment, counter service style ordering with plenty of seating.
