Gustos Burger Bar + More delivers exactly what a great smash-burger restaurant should: bold flavor, perfect sear, quality ingredients, and a fun, casual bar atmosphere that makes the entire experience even better. The burgers here are easily among the top smash burgers in the DFW metroplex – juicy, blanketed crispy-edged, and layered with big, satisfying flavor.

The sides deserve just as much praise. The tots are crispy, seasoned well, and addictive, and the loaded fries are the kind you order “to share” but end up keeping for yourself. Paired with a cold drink from the bar, everything hits exactly the way comfort food should.

If you’re craving a high-quality smash burger with great sides and a laid-back bar vibe, Gustos Burger Bar + More is absolutely worth the stop. Highly recommended.

Stopped by doing ArtsGoggle and it was PACKED, but that didn't stop Gustos from slinging out burgers left and right. I expected a much longer wait, considering the line was out the door. Great service and great smash burgers. The meat was crispy and not at all dry. I loved the seasoning they put on the fries. Also the patio was dog friendly! What a plus.

Burger tasted fantastic! Service was a bit slow for what would seem to be a basic food item. Atmosphere was good, not too loud and was comfortable. Super thin pattys, so you definitely want to get two. Honestly that should just be the standard here, otherwise you’re just eating bread.

After seeing so many people rave about Gusto’s having the best smashburgers in Fort Worth, we decided to check them out. We got the Gusto’s burger and tots, both were delicious, well cooked, and indulgent. The perfect “cheat day” meal. We’ll be back!

Tried the smash burger at Gustos Burger, and overall, it hit the spot. The patty was nicely seared, juicy, and had that crispy edge you'd expect from a solid smash burger. The bun was soft and fresh, and the toppings were balanced—not too heavy, just enough to complement the beef.

That said, the dining experience could use some improvement. There were a lot of flies around the food area, which was a bit off-putting. A better system for keeping them away (like fans or air curtains) would really help elevate the experience.

Okay, if you’re into smash burgers, you have to check this place out. Hands down the best I’ve had in Fort Worth. The patties are thin and crispy around the edges, super juicy in the middle, and packed with flavor. They get that perfect sear that just hits different.

I got the double and it was chef’s kiss — everything from the bun to the sauce was on point. Fries were legit too — crispy, salty, and not greasy. The vibe of the place is chill and the staff was cool, quick, and friendly.

No fluff, no gimmicks — just seriously good burgers. If you’re craving something fast, fresh, and ridiculously tasty, this is your spot. I’ll be back for sure.

After hearing everyone rave about this burger spot I finally got a chance to try it! We visited on a Friday around 2pm. We ordered the gusto burger, sweet heat, one side of french fries & sprite. Total was about $40 which I would consider on the pricier side. The burgers were pretty good but did not live up to the hype imo. I will say the service was excellent 👌🏾 Overall it was a good experience and would consider coming back in the future.

Googled best burger in Fort Worth, and this place did not disappoint. Laid back place that's great to stop by for a bite with friends or family. Arrived on tuesday night at 7 pm. Parking might be a challenge.

Was a bit confused on how to order, but you go inside and order at the cashier first. They give you a number on a stick to put on your table so they can bring the food to you. Sat outside as the day was nice. The menus are kinda old. Not to be that person, but at least wipe them down or replace them every now and then.

Ordered the Gusto Burger with two patties and tater tots on the side.

It's probably the best smash burger I had in a while. The ratios were perfect. The buns were soft but not soggy. The outer meat was nice and crispy. The patties were soft it just melted in my mouth but still had that chew and texture, which was A+.

The tater tots were a letdown. They were crispy and fried perfectly, but it was salty in my opinion and ate only a quarter of it. At least the portion was large.

I was excited to try this place after hearing people rave about it.
It was a really good smash burger. BUT, the bun was delicate and soaked in butter resulting in a paper thin bun. The burger seasoning was excellent. The patties looked and tasted amazing but they lacked the “crispy” crust a smash burger demands. The fries were good, but kinda limp and sometimes soggy, however they were perfectly seasoned.
Would I return??? Yes I would.

*IF your a Fort Worth Native go HERE* I had an awesome experience at GUSTOS—this place is a hidden gem! I ordered the Triple Stacked Gusto Burger, a classic Gusto Burger, and their signature Gusto Style Tots, paired with a Sprite. The food was absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and made fresh with so much love. The burger was stacked to perfection and the tots had just the right crunch and seasoning.

What makes this spot even cooler is their Open Mic Night every Wednesday from 7 PM to 10 PM. I had the chance to enjoy a live performance from a local artist, and it made the night feel even more special.

Great food, good vibes, and live music? Can’t ask for more. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing friends! Highly recommend GUSTOS if you’re in the DFW area.

As I continue exploring the latest in the DFW food scene, I recently discovered a local smash burger spot in Fort Worth. I glanced at a few photos on Yelp—though not closely enough—because what I expected to see and what I was actually served turned out to be very different.

I ordered the Backyard Burger with cheesy tots since they were sold out of fries. Ugh... I should have left then, but I was hungrier than a child who had been playing outside all day. I requested no bacon, but I was told, "No substitutions." I thought to myself, "What?" I didn't want to substitute anything; I just wanted to remove an item. With loud music playing and a growing line behind me, I didn’t have the energy to explain the obvious. So, when my burger arrived, I simply removed the bacon.

I have to say, while everything was seasoned, the presentation and assembly were a disaster. The bun-to-meat ratio was completely off, and the lettuce was chopped instead of left as whole leaves, making it difficult for the patties and tomatoes to stay in place. I eventually gave up and ate the patties without the greasy buns. And don’t even get me started on those awful tots—the semi-melted cheese ruined the entire dish.

This meal felt like something I would have eaten during my college days. It definitely had a low-budget vibe, but the price was NOT low. I cannot recommend this spot unless your taste buds are completely unresponsive or you enjoy mediocre food.
