I highly recommend this place, the food and service was excellent. We had the enchilada plate & fajitas and they were both great as well as the chips & sauce.

Absolutely amazing experience at La Playa Mexican Restaurant! The moment you step in, you're welcomed with a warm, friendly atmosphere that instantly feels like home. The food is simply outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and always served fresh. The fajitas are a must-try, bursting with flavor, and the homemade salsa is the best in town. The service is top-notch; the staff is attentive, kind, and makes you feel like family. Haven’t been here for a while, but have been coming here for decades. I must say, it is as good if not better than it has always been! The food is fantastic, the service is top notch and the atmosphere is great. I don’t give out many 5 stars, but this place deserves it!!!

Their chips and salsa is very good. The food was served fast. There was some misunderstanding with the order. Portions were well served, and the food was tasty. We ordered beef fajitas and flautas, and for dessert flan and sopapillas. We enjoyed our desserts.

Pretty decent Tex-Mex. The seafood dishes are generally good although they use catfish in some which is quite odd for Mexican cuisine. The chili relleno was lovely but I would pass on the flautas as there wasn’t much chicken and what was there was mushy and flavorless.
Queso Flameado with chorizo was prepared table-side and served in four flour tortillas.
Next time I’ll order the Mexican Dinner.
