I had such high hopes for my first time here. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed and I’m afraid my first visit was also my last.

The seating arrangement is very unorganized and the hostesses seemed confused as they sat customers. We were initially told our wait would be 20-25 minutes, which turned out to be closer to an hour. Even though there were empty tables and several parties, including us, were waiting to be seated. We were told they don’t seat people by the number of empty tables and the kitchen was behind, so that was holding them up from seating customers. That made no sense to me but we continued to wait. It was so bad customers started to leave. I might have understood if this was an unusual situation for them, but one of the hostesses told us that they are always busy like it was today. If that’s the case, I’d think they would have a better plan for dealing with it instead of having their waiting customers stand and wait so long.

The parking situation is horrible for the location, which is pretty much out of their control. But it just added to my frustration. Our appetizers were pretty good, but my entree was underwhelming. I ordered the Southern Penne Pasta, which the menu described as having blackened chicken. It wasn’t. And it was bland. We ordered drinks, never received them. Tickets got lost. All in all, our visit was a hot mess!

On a positive note, our server, Ellie, was nice though.

First time here and I loved it. I had the Big breakfast with a strawberry margarita 😋😋😋. I will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere and service. Food was good depending on what you get, everyone in our party had different plates. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the bacon 🥓, needs to be a little more crispier. The different fried chicken plates are really good.

We ordered the Cheese Fries ($9), Southern Penne Pasta ($17), and Southside Philly Steak Sandwich ($15). The steak sandwich was pretty good - the steak was cooked well and was very tender and flavorful while the peppers, onion, and cheese completed the sandwich. My only complaint was that the sandwich was a bit too buttery and felt heavy. It comes with fries, but I switched to mashed potatoes at no extra cost. Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes were not good and tasted store-bought. The cheese fries were pretty mid too, the fries were not crispy and the cheese added no additional flavor. I didn’t try the pasta, but my friend didn’t finish it all and didn’t take the leftovers home, so that wasn’t a good sign. The service was good, and the overall vibes of the place is nice, especially the outdoor seating. Overall, I would not recommend for the food - maybe just a place for people who don’t care too much about the food to have some alright food and socialize.

The atmosphere at Maggie's RnR is definitely the highlight — the outdoor seating was a great spot even on a hot day thanks to the fans and shade. The service was solid and the vibe was laid-back, which made for a pleasant experience overall.

As for the food, it was just okay. I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t get a virgin margarita, seems like a simple request for a brunch spot with a full bar. Also, I wasn’t expecting pork in the breakfast potatoes, and that wasn’t clearly listed on the menu. That caught me off guard since I don’t eat pork.

Pretty cool place in a great part of town. Not only does Maggie’s RnR have a great location… but the food is delicious as well! I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area! The staff was also very friendly as well!

Understated burgers and sandwiches that pack in the flavor. Good selection of beers on tap and an awesomely unpretentious atmosphere. No music on our visit but several dogs on the patio. Great service. Amazing location and super clean bathrooms.

We paid to park in the parking lot directly behind the restaurant which was $5 and change for like 6 hours (very reasonable). Made our way to the restaurant and were seated immediately. We had the option of outdoor or indoor seating and I preferred the indoor.

The gentleman came over and took our drink orders and the young lady came and took our food orders shortly after that. We ordered the Fish & Chips for my wife, as well as a Blue Lemonade, and the Chicken Tenders & Fries for myself. Both meals came with a small cole slaw. She enjoyed the Fish & Chips and the Blue Lemonade. I enjoyed the Tenders & Fries, but would have preferred it to be more seasoned. We both agreed the fries were really good, but we could have went without the cole slaw. The waitress did a fantastic job

Maggie’s RnR has a great atmosphere, especially for dog lovers! It’s a lively spot with good music that really enhances the experience. The food is delicious and definitely a highlight. The service, however, could be better. The waitresses are always nice, but they tend to be slow and inattentive. Despite that, it’s still a fun and enjoyable place to visit!

We’ve always loved this place — the food is great and it’s been a favorite spot for a while. That said, the last few visits have been disappointing when it comes to service. It’s frustrating when staff seem disengaged, and unfortunately that was the case again at the start of our visit today. The bartender on shift initially wouldn’t make eye contact, seemed irritated, and was tossing things around behind the bar — not exactly a welcoming vibe.

But everything changed when the next bartender came on. April, was fantastic — quick, attentive, and really on top of things. She noticed what was going on down the bar without being asked, had a great attitude, and actually engaged with customers. Her energy completely turned our experience around.

Big thanks to April for saving what could have been another disappointing visit. Hoping to see more of that kind of service going forward — it makes all the difference

I visit and/or order delivery from Maggie’s often. Has absolutely become one of my favorite restaurants. All of my food has been delicious. Today, I had the opportunity to pick up my order myself. While waiting I sat the bar and ordered a virgin Hibiscus Margarita. The was so good and definitely will be back to try it with alcohol. Nonetheless, the bartender who took my order was absolutely amazing. And per usual my Atlantic Salmon( cooked medium with a side of chili sauce as recommended by the bartender) with green beans and mashed potatoes is so good. Thank you all and will definitely be back soon

Please don't let the one star fool you. It's due to the bartender that worked lunch today. She was not only slow but super slow. She was extremely inattentive, which is the worst trait one could have at this position. A good bartender is not only friendly but serves you beers without you asking: to get a beer from this girl was like pulling teeth. I thought about giving her 50 cents for a tip, but I'm just not that mean. Hopefully, management will see this and correct the problem. I'll be back, but I guarantee it won't be for lunch. And if she's bartending the next time I go, I certainly won't stop. What a shame!

Maggie's is an awesome gathering place for friends and family with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with just enough room in between seats that you don't feel cramped. There were 7 of us (beware of the 20% automatic gratuity) and we fit just fine at a picnic table outdoors. Our service was slow but she was very attentive when she would arrive and always promised to be right back! The food was hit or miss amongst our 7 plates. My shrimp skewers were very overcooked, they wouldn't even come off the skewer! The steak tacos were a bit shy on ingredients but delicious and the fish and chips were spectacular, wish those came gluten free, they looked amazing! All in all we had a nice experience and loved the vibe of the restaurant. The outdoor area allows dogs at the tables and there's a large stage with live music throughout the week and weekend. Not necessarily romantic date night but definitely fun friends gathering!
