We just had my daughter’s bday party there…& Everything was Perfect! Gene took care of us & it was over the top! He had the tables set up w our water & tea service & place for gifts… added balloons for her & took cares of us above & beyond expectation! Landri had a blast & all our guests enjoyed! The food was delicious & drinks were Fab❣️what a memorable party nite 🎉we’d do it again in a heartbeat!
Landri is in a wheelchair & we had my grands there too…& it was perfect for ALL🎉❣️🎉❣️🎉 5 stars for sure

We decided to try this restaurant at the last minute. We should've kept going. By looking at the menu (pretty limited) we were hoping for great food and drink. Not the case. First impression were the chips and salsa, of course. They both tasted store bought. The food comes out and mine had a bug on it. The server immediately takes it away and offers to bring another one. He brought my "new" plate literally seconds later. I'm truly not exaggerating. The food was "ok". In our opinion, it was very expensive. Oh, and my drink...I ordered a mango margarita. I was expecting a delicious bar made drink. It was about $15, it was small and came out of one of those pre-made contraptions. Sorry, I can't recommend this place.

Lovely night to sit out on the patio. Our server, Gene, was the ultimate server! He was knowledgeable about their menu, helpful when it came to food and drink selection, and took extra time to converse with us which was nice with how rushed life seems these days. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was on point. Highly, highly recommend and will definitely be back! 10/10!

We had a surprise party for my mothers 75th birthday. We showed up with a party of 12 and they immediately got a table prepared for us. They gifted us with the most amazing waiter, GENE! He was hands down one of the best waiters I have had in my life. He was kind, professional, patient and just all around perfect! Gene helped make this surprise party absolutely wonderful!

Hulen and I-30 location is my go to for amazing lunch and dinner. I am a regular and David is AMAZING and my usual server. He always makes me feel important and because I’m a regular he knows what I love to eat and drink every time I visit. Highly recommend David!!! The entire staff and management are great go out of their way to make sure you are always taken care of.

C'mon now... what's not to love? The chips and salsa... don't we all start with that? Yeah... you know we do. And what a fantastic place to start -- it's fresh, it's tasty, it's spot on! Go from there to the drinks - spot on again! Now to the entree - guess what? Trifecta!!!! We have a winner all the way around!

I personally enjoyed this location better than the one in downtown Ft Worth, as it is simply brighter, roomier, and just overall more welcoming.

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Gene J at Mi Cocina, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, Gene demonstrated an impeccable level of service that truly stood out.

First, let’s talk about the cocktails, The Double Barrel and Mambo Limousine ..,Not only were they crafted to perfection—beautifully balanced and delicious—they were also presented with such care and attention to detail that they were almost too pretty to drink! Gene clearly knows their craft and takes pride in delivering a quality experience.

What made the experience even better was Gene’s demeanor. Pleasant, polite, and genuinely attentive, they ensured everything was exactly to my liking without being intrusive. Their lighthearted conversation added just the right touch of warmth and personality, making the evening even more enjoyable.

It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism, skill, and genuine hospitality so seamlessly. If you’re lucky enough to have Gene as your bartender, you’re in for a treat. Highly recommend stopping by Mi Cocina Chapel Hill and experiencing their service firsthand!
