A great seafood spot in an outstanding location. Highly recommend trying their ceviche and other dishes that lean into their fish oriented cuisine. The miso salad was also a spectacular and fresh way to start the meal, if you enjoy salads at all definitely try it. Overall, the portions were generous and the food was delicious- with sauces that elevated the meal. Great spot to have a meal then walk around the area for a while after.

First time at Planks and it was amazing! Katie was an outstanding server—attentive and on point. The redfish ceviche with avocado and black garlic was spot on, and the blackened Baja fish tacos on house-made corn tortillas were next-level good. Clean, relaxed vibe with a great bar—perfect for lunch or date night.

The establishment is warm and cozy. I had the pleasure of meeting three friendly and professional staff members. I’ll start with dessert. If you like peanut butter you’ll love the chocolate terrine. It was plated beautifully and the peanut butter ice cream was robust.

The item I enjoyed the most during my visit was the redfish ceviche. The leche de tigre, avocado, red onion, and black garlic were fresh and flavorful. There was a hint of spice and the tostadas added a nice crunch to the dish. The calamari was fried perfectly. However, for $15, I had better seasoned calamari for half the price.

The blackened catfish alone gets 1 star. It’s the primary reason for my overall 3 star review. I’ve ordered blackened catfish from many restaurants over the years. This one is the worst! I’m not saying the catfish or entree was bad. But, for the amount I paid I expected a savory mix of spices.

If you enjoy a bold, flavorful, cajun, southern comfort blackened catfish this is NOT for you. Sorry, but lack of seasoning in Cajun and Creole cuisines is disrespectful. If you receive a catfish that’s blackened correctly it shows they’re inconsistent with preparing menu items. I will say the way it’s prepared you don’t have to worry about heartburn. Note: There is retail parking on the side of the building.

Our recent dining experience at Plank Provisions was exceptional from beginning to end. We were a party of six and were seated promptly upon arrival. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between upscale and comfortable—ideal for both special occasions and relaxed gatherings.

Service was attentive and professional throughout the evening. The staff was well-prepared, knowledgeable about the menu, and ensured that every detail was taken care of without being intrusive.

The food was outstanding. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, well-portioned, and beautifully presented. The seafood in particular stood out for its freshness and flavor, and the accompanying sides were equally impressive. Cocktails and drinks were well-crafted and complemented the meal perfectly.

Our total bill, including drinks and gratuity, came to $335 for the group.

Plank Provisions delivered on every front. We look forward to returning and would not hesitate to recommend it to others seeking an enjoyable meal in a well-executed setting.
Exceptional seafood restaurant with a skinny menu made up of the VERY best! We loved the sushi, the fish and chips, the fish tacos, and everything else! Everything was perfectly prepared and served. The cole slaw was even great! Every time we've been here, the person waiting on us we're incredibly helpful and friendly without trying to become part of our party - the perfect server! You have got to try this place even if it's for a special occasion!

I had a fantastic experience at Plank. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and everything was presented in a clean, clear, and well-organized way. What really made the visit special was my server, Kimberly—she was absolutely wonderful. Attentive, kind, and genuinely warm, she made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Great service makes all the difference, and Kimmy truly delivered. Looking forward to coming back soon!

So, I won’t lie. The first time I came I didn’t write a review as I really wasn’t that impressed. However, that was right when they first opened and it just didn’t seem worth the money. But now, after going last night with my on Valentine’s Day of all days, I can say it’s great. Our server Crystal took great care of us and the only reason I didn’t eat everything is because my eyes were too big for my stomach. My sushi was great, as were my appetizers. The surprise of the food was the bread and dip that we got. I’d say that’s a must try. My friend got it but I ate most of it. I believe it was a type of crab dip.

Good happy hour. We came during happy hour before a movie and we had a good time.

The oysters were good, you can’t beat $1 oysters, nothing super special, but for the price they were great.

The hushpuppies were good and the sweet sauce was tasty.

Sashimi was nice and fresh.

The sushi was ok. Too much rice in my opinion, but it was not bad.

Service was good especially since it was New Year’s Day and there were only 2 waitresses for the whole restaurant.
