Excellent food and service! We visited for our Anniversary and they were WONDERFUL! We started off with a dirty martini and cosmo with half dozen oysters. We shared the NY bone-in steak with the Kona rub, two lobster tails, Lobster Mac N Cheese, and Au Gratin Potatoes. Finished our meal off with chocolate cake and creme brûlée…. Such a great visit! Highly recommend!!!

I had heard so many great things about Capital Grille. I was expecting a bit more. Well, it was absolutely too dark in the dining room. I could barely see my meal. The service was average. Our waiter was polite, but definitely not attentive. The crabcake was fantastic. I can't say the same for the steak or fish. Maybe it was a busy day, and the staff was simply tired. I don't know. What I do know Capital Grille does not compare to Eddie V's or New Orleans Chophouse.

Overall the experience was good. It was our anniversary and I wanted to take my girlfriend to a nice restaurant. The service was really good, the staff was welcoming, decorated our table, and even signed a card for us. Our waiter took good care of us and was very professional. The food was good. Everything had good flavor and my steak was cooked well albeit a bit bland. French fries were amazing, french onion soup was perfect, and the tuna tartare was magnificent. My main gripe was with what my girlfriend ordered, the portion was very small for the price. She ordered pan seared scallops with lobster but there were only 6 scallops and the lobster was just little chunks in the risotto and it was $60! Had the price been maybe $35-$40 it might have been worth it more. Would I come back? Possibly but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The food, while presented beautifully, felt excessively priced and fell short in flavor. My wife's salmon was overwhelmed by a sauce that clashed rather than complemented, and my sea bass, though promising, was undercooked and smaller than anticipated.

The wine list was another disappointment; I couldn't believe that a bottle we frequently buy for $23 at Kroger was marked up to $60 here. That felt quite unreasonable.

On a different note, the artwork throughout the restaurant was a bit unsettling and didn't quite fit the ambiance.

This experience made our anniversary so special this year! The food and drinks are phenomenal and definitely worth the price. Our server was so sweet and even gave my husband a rose to give me as a surprise!
