Food is fantastic. Great seasoning on the food and delicious fries. Great spot to also watch sports too but its not very busy to watch football.

Pulled up to The Cookshak the other night, you know how it goes—needed that comfort, that real flavor after a long week. That fried chicken sandwich? Straight fire. Crispy on the outside, juicy as hell inside, bun toasted just right, slaw and sauce hittin' different. Took one bite and felt like I was back home, no cap. Fries on the side seasoned perfect, not too much, not too little.
Then the platter—tenders stacked high, golden and crunchy, ribs fallin' off the bone with that smoky BBQ pull. Mixed it all up, dipped in the house sauce... man, it was a vibe. Solid 8/10, ain't changin' my life but damn sure hittin' the spot when you crave that Southern heat. If you're out here lookin' for somethin' real and hearty, slide through

We come here all the time. We usually love this place. The fries are great. The shack sauce is 🤌 But today was not it. First, my husband ordered the 3 tender combo - they brought out 2. There isn't even an option for 2 unless you get chicken and waffles?? Then, I tried to pick up my sandwich and the entire thing just came apart and ALL of the breading came off. I couldn't even eat it. There was a different manager I've never seen before. Most of them walk around engaging with customers - he stood around, never spoke to anyone, checked his phone numerous times. Maybe the experience we had was a reflection of the management that day? Who knows. But I'm not sure this place will stay on our rotation after today.

Nice chicken joint! Tenders are big! Cool that they have different levels of heat. Love the dragon seasoned fries! Wish they offered pickles without having to ask. Ice cream sandwich was ok, but nothing to write home about.

The awesome customer service started as we walked in. With an easy to follow menu I wanted to try more than I could eat! I ordered the tenders, medium heat, the side I chose was the kale salad. The tenders were perfectly seasoned, just the right crunch, texture, and so juicy. Kale salad had a light vinergarette with peanuts throughout, of which I enjoyed.
We had the pleasure of talking to Brandon K
who came over to make sure we were satisfied. We let him know we were, and it was our first time there. He then brought us an extra special treat to celebrate that. A house made Oatmeal butterscotch ice-cream sandwich! It was the best. The cookie was soft and perfectly constructed around vanilla ice cream.
If you're craving chicken done the way it should be, then The Cookshack is where to visit in Ft. Worth!.

Delicious ribs and chicken. Nice variety of seasoning offered. Chicken tenders, burger rib sandwiches and ribs very flavorful and reasonably prices. Waffles were delicious per our son. Alcohol available for those that choose. Sufficient parking given neighborhood. Definitely recommend.

The customer service here was great with very friendly and attentive staff. This is the best chicken and waffles I've had. Nothing is soggy, the chicken is crispy, juicy and flavorful! The fact that you can customize your spice level and it actually gets decently spicy (not just white people spicy) is fantastic. The portion size is very generous and worth your money. If you crave chicken and waffles this is THE place to go.

I recently had the pleasure of trying a crispy chicken sandwich that completely exceeded my expectations. The "medium" heat level was spot on!

Alongside the sandwich, the specialty "dragon fries" were an absolute standout. And yessss, we ate the crispy tender salad!

To round out the meal, I indulged in an ice cream sandwich for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending—just the right way to finish a great meal.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for an overall satisfying dining experience!
