I originally wanted to call this Thundercloud north...actually Thundercloud is Great Outdoors south. Thundercloud 1975 Austin, Great Outdoors 1973 Dallas. If you like love either, youll be the same with either. I love em both 5 stars
Delivery order so can’t comment on Service or atmosphere but this is a one and done for me.
I just received two of the smallest subs I’ve ever seen. Barely any meat or ingredients at all.
The Reuben is an embarrassment. 2 slices of Corned beef (talking deli thin slices). Nothing special about the dressing which they specifically call out in the app. Sauerkraut is horrible, over-processed grocery store bought crap.
The other sandwich we got is also small but I can’t comment as I didn’t half to eat it.
They are so small they aren’t even filling at a lunch level.
Best service I’ve had in years. These two girls I forgot their names were so sweet and on top of everything. Great recommendations and great customer service! Food was incredible! The best shakes omg so delicious. Consider me a regular!
Ordered two Six-Foot subs for a party and it was such a great idea! Just make sure to call 2-3days in advance for such a big order.
The bread was amazingly fresh and soft, and they allow the sandwich to be split into two different kinds of styles. So we were able to try a lot of different flavors at the party! The sandwich was already cut for easy convenience as well. When we went to pick it up it was contained in a 6foot long box as well, so the drive home was easy! Will definitely keep in mind for the next party.
Got a Cuban sandwich meal with a PB cookie. The cookie was great! The sandwich was optimal but could have been better. (See other reviews about lack of meat wealth). Price was ok at 17 and change, and tasted much better than Subway. Fresh sliced deli meats and cheeses! Bread was a little chewy even though my sandwich was heated.
Walked in about 5 minutes ago to pick up my order and waiting 5 minutes and not 1 single employee greeted me. I ended up having to yell out “ is anyone here!”, then the girl came from the back of the store with some over the ear headphones on!!!! She would’ve be able to hear the doorbell signifying a customer entered the store…. She needs to be reprimanded
This is still a very good sandwich shop but l, currently difficult to visit due to construction on Camp Bowie. You must enter via 7th St by Hollywood Pet. Small parking lot. Recommend take out if you are already familiar with the menu.
Always a treat! Been going here for 30 years and drop in whenever I can. Always the Summer Sub for me and my husband said the Cheesesteak was the best he'd ever had!
I grew up going to one in Dallas by medallion center ( skillman and NWHWY). I would buy a sandwich and eat one half the first day and the other half for lunch the next day. They were PACKED with meat and cheese. I drove by the one in FW and was so excited to take my kids there. There was no line, which was nice. The sandwiches were so disappointing. We got one slice of meat and one slice of cheese on each sandwich. This is NOT the quality it needs to be. The ones in Dallas do several slices of cheese folded over and several slices of each meat. Not worth the money at all. I get more meat at subway and it’s 1/2 the price. Please do better. The flavor ( the works) was good like I remember, but the sandwich was NOT worth the money. I would like to see this location stay open, but managers to step in or be over at this location more often. I am including a picture of one of our sandwiches. You can’t tell how tiny it is. I should have taken a better picture. Sad results.
