Tuk Tuk Thai — Fort Worth’s Beloved Cultural District Gem Serving Authentic, Made-from-Scratch Thai Cuisine with Bold Flavors, Generous Portions, and a Cozy Neighborhood Atmosphere on West 7th Street

For consistently satisfying, authentically prepared Thai food in one of Fort Worth’s most vibrant neighborhoods, Tuk Tuk Thai at 3431 W. 7th St. has quietly become one of the most trusted restaurants in the Cultural District. Named for the iconic three-wheeled motorized taxi ubiquitous on the streets of Bangkok, Tuk Tuk brings the bold, complex flavor profiles of traditional Thai street cooking to a warm, casually sophisticated dining room that regulars describe as a hidden gem hiding in plain sight. With 234 photos and 4-star ratings across Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Google — and a Grubhub “leading Fort Worth restaurant” designation — the kitchen’s commitment to fresh ingredients, made-to-order cooking, and carefully calibrated spice levels has earned the kind of word-of-mouth following that no amount of marketing can manufacture. Out-of-town visitors who stumble in frequently report being surprised to find Thai food this authentic this far from a major metro, and locals have long known that this West 7th address punches well above its weight.

The menu at Tuk Tuk Thai is an extensive and rewarding tour through the regional flavors of Thailand. Appetizers span chicken satay with house peanut sauce, steamed dumplings, crab Rangoon, fresh spring rolls, and a Thai combo platter that makes a satisfying starter for the table. Soups are a particular strength: the Tom Kha Gai — a silky coconut milk broth with mushrooms, lemongrass, galangal, and lime juice — arrives complimentary with lunch specials and routinely earns its own rave reviews, alongside Tom Yum Kong and a noodle broth bowl with sliced beef and meatballs. The noodle program covers all the classics — Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Drunken Noodles, and glass noodle dishes — while the curry menu delivers five distinct styles: red, green, Panang, massaman, and yellow, each available with your choice of protein and perfectly balanced between coconut richness and aromatic spice. Must-order house specialties include the sesame chicken, the cashew nut chicken, the Pad Kra Pao (fiery Thai basil stir-fry), and the Pork Pra Ram — sliced pork over wilted spinach in a rich peanut curry sauce that regulars call one of the most underrated dishes on the menu. Vegan and vegetarian options are plentiful throughout.

Tuk Tuk Thai is located at 3431 W. 7th St., Fort Worth, TX 76107, and is open Monday through Friday from 11am to 3pm and 5 to 9pm, and Saturday from noon to 4pm and 5 to 9pm, with Sunday closed. Dine-in, takeout, and delivery via DoorDash and Grubhub are all available, with online ordering through the website. Happy hour specials and a rewards program round out a complete neighborhood dining experience. Whether you’re a Thai food devotee or a first-timer looking for something new on the West 7th corridor, Tuk Tuk Thai delivers a satisfying, authentic meal at a price point that makes it easy to come back again and again. Delicious food! We had steamed potstickers that were incredible and the lunch specials: Drunken Noodles and the stir fry with chili sauce. Both were great. Friendly staff.

Great tasting food with lots of options on the menu for a wide variety of tastes. Online ordering is easy. Friendly staff. We had the pad Thai, fried chicken with fried rice, sriracha fried rice, and the chicken lettuce wraps. You can customize the spice level between a range of 0 to 5 which is great for multiple people ordering on the same order. The Thai egg rolls were amazing too.

I don’t know how this restaurant has anything but 5 stars. The portions are huge, and you always leave full. She has a wide variety of dishes that you can try something new & different every time. There’s a fried dough dessert that is sooo good. And I have to say they have the best Thai Iced Tea here. The restaurant is always cute with decorations for holidays etc (ex Halloween, Valentines, July 4th, etc). Best Thai spot I’ve had in the DFW area and I feel like I’ve tried em all.

I ordered the Pad See Ew Lunch Combo ($12.50). The noodles are pretty good, very standard for Thai food. There’s a good amount of veggies and meat in there, which I appreciate. The egg rolls were pretty mid, but they came with the lunch combo so no complaints there. I’ve been here in the past multiple times, and all the other dishes are pretty good - including the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle, and Siam Noodle, which was my favorite. This place is consistently good, but it is not anything crazy and there’s plenty of Thai places in NYC that are much better. However, it’s good for Fort Worth, and a great option of takeout if you’re craving Thai food. The service is great there too. Overall, I would recommend this place if you’re in the area and want some Thai food.

I ordered one from the lunch menu. The portion is kind of small and the AC didn’t work very well. Service was great

I had an amazing experience at Tuk Tuk Thai! I ordered the Khao Soi and asked for it with tofu - no problem at all, and it was to die for. Rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and my food came out surprisingly fast. Everything from the service to the food was just spot-on. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Best Thai food in Fort Worth. Come here maybe once a week. It’s one of those spots you’ll want to come back to. Inside is very casual, service is super friendly and very quick, food is amazing. Lots of vegetarian options as tofu can be subbed for anything. Recommend the pad sweet chili, and the pad kratiem.
