We found this place on Google and decided to host a party here and rented it out on a Sunday for a Baby Shower, we came in to visit with the owner, Patrick. He was awesome, super friendly and outgoing. We were able to taste the menu beforehand and everything was delicious, which made us really excited to host our baby shower here.

The day of the event, though, the food wasn’t quite up to par. I’m not sure if it was the size of our group (we had about 50 guests) or maybe a different cook, but it definitely threw me off compared to our tasting. I do think they may be better suited for parties around 25–30 people so things run a little smoother. (Burger buns and waffles were hard, Mac & Cheese Clumped, hardened and we had to firmly press into it to get it out of the tray.) The popcorn chicken was really good!

Other than that, once we added our decorations, everything really popped. The location is cute, we had a great time, and even our teens played games and really enjoyed themselves. Overall, we’re grateful for the experience and hope this feedback helps.

Oh my—what a perfect cold-breezy morning in Fort Worth to enjoy good conversation, games, and the warmth of great company. This event was exactly what I needed to get out of the house and connect. It was my first time experiencing Game Theory, and I loved it. I’ve always been a fan of Near Southside, and it’s amazing how much it’s changed over the last few years.
We enjoyed chicken and waffles, eggs, bacon, and sausage, plus a complimentary drink. There’s even a wall dedicated to games you can play. The space is small, cozy, and truly designed to bring people together.
An amazing event—Made some new friends, and honestly… it doesn’t get much better than that. ❤️

This was a complimentary experience

We got there when they opened at 11 to make an afternoon of it. We were the only patrons in the place. There seemed to be one employee for the afternoon. It wasn’t a problem but that’s a lot for one person.
She greeted us and showed us to our seat. I was surprised she didn’t ask where we would like to sit since the place was empty. We got a booth which was fine. The booth seats are just a piece of wood. The table seating has cushioned seats.
She recommended drinks and we got 3 appetizers.
I got the POTION NO. 9
$12
This Cosmic Lemonade has Blueberry Vodka, Aperol, Fresh Lemon Juice, and topped with Butterfly Tea. Instagram-worthy libation

It is a BEAUTIFUL drink! I loved it. It is super sweet!

We ordered the brussel sprouts, ceviche, and shrimp. They were all surprisingly excellent! We ate every bite. Waitress said it was a top seller.

She recommended a couple of games and briefly explained 1 of them. I have been before and gotten much more help with gaming. I feel she could have asked us what we were looking for and then brought a few and explained.

The only negative of the afternoon is that they should always leave extra napkins and wipe off and dry table when done with food. Our drinks made the table wet and we kept cleaning up and wiped down our own table after getting more napkins.

It was a tad warm inside as well.

Overall it was a lot of fun!

First time here and we enjoyed this place. Drive from north Dallas suburb so we weren’t sure what to expect.
The drinks were amazing ! Definitely our favorite part of the meal. The food was okay. The chicken and fries were so-so, the pretzel tasted like the frozen once I get from Costco, and the doughnuts were 7/10.
Overall I think it’s a great place to come,
Get a drink and play games! (Just don’t order the food)
Service was great and our server was sooooo kind.

What a cool place. Food was great. We had the brussel sprouts (whatever you do try these) then had the wings (firecracker seasoning) and the mini pies. Everything was really good.
Atmosphere was cool. Would make a great date night location.
Highly recommend.

The food was awesome and had little unique twists on typical dishes. Reasonably priced and great friendly service. It can get a little loud from people drinking and laughing hysterically but it was just funny and not annoying at all. Tons of games to pick from and just such a great experience for me and my wife.

It was my family's first time here, and the atmosphere was different and very unique. Our server, Dylan, was awesome. I ordered the Buttermilk Chicken (Firecracker), and it was oily. I should've asked first how it would be made. The chicken was moist but lacked flavor. The fries were nice and crispy. I rate my dish a 2/5. My wife ordered the Mini Pot Pie Combo (Chicken Pot Pie & Aussie Meat Pie). She enjoyed both, but the chicken was a bit dry. The Aussie Meat Pie was better than she thought, so she enjoyed, although she said it was salty towards the last few bites. My wife rates her dish a 3/5. I ordered popcorn chicken for my daughter and noticed she kept drinking her water. When I tried a piece of the chicken, it was very salty. The chicken was moist, but the batter it was fried in was salty. It was decent once I drenched it with ketchup. I rate the popcorn chicken a 3/5. Overall experience, I rate this place a 3☆. Everyone was very nice, the space was very interesting, but the food was what I was there for, and I don't think I'll be back.

Okay, I am a bit of a gaming geek, so thought I'd pop in when I saw this place. Games tend more toward the social type, with no serious wargames, but a pretty good selection of stuff outside of that category. They did have the games rated ( beginner/simple to complicated) for those trying out new things. Staff were friendly and I ate at the bar--ordered the Brussel sprouts and bbq sandwich. The sandwich was okay, but the sauce for it was a bit on the sweet side for me. The sprouts, on the other hand, were "da bomb." Definitely a must order item if you are into that ( and I am). Service was pretty quick and I left satisfied.

We went to Game Theory for date night and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The atmosphere was chill and relaxed, and we were able to sit outside, which made the experience even better. Our waiter was super attentive, and the menu had some great options—especially during happy hour.

I don’t drink, so I really appreciated that they offered mocktails. I tried the Brussels sprouts and the BBQ chicken pizza, and both were delicious.

They have a huge selection of games to choose from—you could keep coming back and always find something new to play. It started to get a bit busier inside around the time we were leaving, so it’s a great place to catch a vibe early and stay as things pick up.

Whether it’s a date night, a night out with friends, or a fun family evening, I definitely recommend it. And if you can swing by during happy hour, you’ll really get your money’s worth!
