Went with some friends and enjoyed the vibe here. The band was great about playing good dance songs. Crowd was friendly and courteous. Drinks were good.
This is a great bar with an awesome Texas atmosphere but the one star is for the lady at the entrance. She is running a sham. We accidentally walked in because of the awesome bar stools they have while crossing the street. We had probably spent 30 seconds in the bar and the lady at the entrance asked another customer to reach out to us and make our way to the entrance. Without asking or giving us the option if we wanted to stay or not she made us pay for the $5 cover charge stating that if you just walk into the door after 7 pm you have to pay, even without us ordering or staying a minute at the place. Seriously, is this how you want to run a business and charge people? Have the courtesy and at least offer them a chance if they want to stay or not. We ordered margaritas and it was basically just lemonade. I'd say terrific ambience, terrible service and people working here. Skip if you can.
Great old cowboy bar with a lot of history. If you’re in the Fort Worth area you have to visit Lil’ Reds Longhorn Saloon. It’s right in the middle of all the action in the Stockyards so make your plans and have a good time.
