We had an amazing time on Father's Day!! Our party had Family that arrived in town, so due to number of people, we suggested TX Republic for music and brunch. I think they take their reviews seriously, as I witnessed the restroom being stocked and tidied up! The brunch selection from 12-4pm being replenished with fresh food consistently! Fathers Day menu served were fresh fruit, chicken and waffles(so cute the way they present them), tasty fried chicken, mini pancakes, eggs, gravy, quiche, beef, chicken, or cheese nachos, and a few other items!
There's amazing music played during brunch time as advertised, and honestly they do not advertise that they're a fine dining restaurant, however a bar! ;-) The actual DJ was there as promised at 4pm, and a female rocked the house, we had to tip her for the service! Speaking of service, thank you all for treating us with such professionalism and courtesy! Have to give Kudos to the ones I interacted with; Dillion, Callie, & Anna; fabulous Bartenders! Can't forget the catering DeyDey provided our large party, and let's not forget he & Boston with those smooth moves on the dance floor! The family traveled back to their homestate, and is still speaking of an EPIC time this establishment provided! We will be returning. Only suggestion would be be a small reminder to Patrons you have the dirty dish tub are under your table! :-) We had no clue, but overall you guys work hard and thank you, thank you, and we will be returning!!

If I could give zero stars for service, I would. Had a female bartender make eye contact with me 4 times, roll her eyes, walk away, slam someone's order down that she goofed up. Music was too loud, drinks were watered down and lousy. Food was cold. Amazing this place stays opened.

I see a lot of comments about racism, coming in there was a black guy very friendly but when I got to the bar there was a tall Caucasian dude behind the bar not so friendly so I can see it. A lot of you definitely do not need to be in the hospitality industry I definitely must say. I wish I would have gotten his name but if you still decide to go you will definitely notice (I’m brown by the way) Texas Replubic get employees that fit the Hospitality persona because HE is not it. And I don’t tip rude, undercover racists. But on the good foot the blonde haired bartender smiled and greeted us
Thank you good person for covering the role for your co worker.

My wife and I stopped in for a bite to eat. It was a cool place more on mediocre end though. You could tell that the place host some sort of events and no one cared to. Lean up afterwards. There were also pets in the place wandering around. The pet owners tried to keep them I. The designated area but they kept breaking out. I dont like pets around when I'm eating.
The server wasnt the most attentive and whenever the chef came out he appeared angry.
The food was standard American with a slight southern twist. Lots of places to visit in W7th area do may be a while before we're back.
