Madison Reed is excellent! They use fewer chemicals in their color products which is so much better for my scalp and overall health. All the color techs I've used there have been very good with color and my hair has always turned out beautiful! It is a comfortable and friendly environment. I love it!

I took my mother to this hair dye bar for an emergency appointment after our regular stylist had to cancel. The experience was deeply disappointing. During her three-hour visit, no one offered her water or any basic hospitality. The hair color result was ok.
Most concerning was the large halo of hair dye left around my mother’s face. When I pointed it out upon pickup, the staff claimed they intentionally left the stains, expecting clients to remove them with provided cotton and stain remover. However, no one informed my mother of this or offered her the materials until I raised the issue. The provided stain remover was ineffective, and a second product was given only after further complaint. The attendant then implied the issue was due to my mother’s “dry skin” and suggested the stains might fade in a few hours, which was inaccurate and unprofessional. No additional assistance or compensation was offered.
Overall, the lack of communication, poor customer service, and unaddressed staining left my mother looking and feeling uncomfortable. I would not recommend this salon and will not return

In a hurry/rush, mediocre work, didn't get what asked for.

My 13 year old daughter had her first ever appointment for a PARTIAL highlight. We booked online and entered a 25% off code. We also confirmed at the front desk that she was there for a PARTIAL highlight.

The colorist decided to give her a FULL (not great) foil and charge us for it. I tried to remedy this with Madison Reed, but they just said I was charged for the services provided...even though that was not the service we booked or wanted. They couldn't care less.

The stylist was also very rough with my daughter when combing out her hair. She has curly hair and is not tender headed by any means, but she said her whole head was sore after. She also said that after the highlights were done, they told her she could go over the style bar and style her own hair with no help or explanation. The two products that were there were out and my daughter didn't know what to do...she just sat there until finally someone came over and took the cape off her so she could leave.

I feel terrible that this was her first experience at a salon. I would not recommend anyone to go to Madison Reed.

The gatekeep in me doesn’t want to review this place but the ladies there deserve it 💖

my mom recommended Madison Reed when i told her i want to dye my hair red (natural mousey brown). i showed up and they worked with me to pick out the exact shade and types of products which was such a relief since im new to this (the girlies know the chaos of the box dye aisle).
it turned out so well and they talked through color maintenance plans with me and it was soooo affordable 💸
today i wanted to branch out and try highlights for the first time ever. Jourdan helped me figure out based on my inspo pics that i actually wanted a balayage with highlights “sparkles” in my bangs and OMG i look SO good. every single person who works there creates a welcoming environment every single time that helps timid people like me feel comfortable talking about things i want and things i dont know 💯✨💛
first pic is the first time i got all over color like over a year ago - it has really lightened up since as u can see, well aside from todays balayage i fr feel like peak jennifer anniston yall anyway hope y’all go and come out with as much confidence boost as i always do ✨✨🫶🎉

I have been going to this Madison Reed location for 3 years. They have always been very nice. Jordan gives an amazing blowout! Don’t mind paying extra for her service. This last time I discussed with DeDe what ai wanted and she made it happened! I absolutely love how it turned out. I highly recommend this location. Most of the girls know me by name. I have stubborn grey hair and I go over every 5 weeks. Membership is the best.
